We worship every Sunday at 10:30 during the months of September – June, because it is important to remember who–and whose–we are. For the months of July and August, we worship at 9:30.
Weekly worship is a time to gather and be reminded that you are not alone. At Spirit of Hope, we believe that God is alive and present and active in the world. God has hopes and dreams for each of us, and for all of us together, and it is our privilege to be caught up in those aspirations of God for all of creation.
Come as you are. NO DRESS CODE.
Spirit of Hope worships in a fairly traditional way, and with an informal style. We sing songs from long ago and songs written more recently. We pray together. We dig into the Bible, always working to connect our lives with the story of God’s people recorded in scripture. And we offer ourselves in service to God’s dreams for the world.
Children are always welcome and invited to join in worship. Kids can sit with whoever brought them, sit with friends, or gravitate to the gathering space at the rear of the sanctuary to join other kids working on projects under the supervision of caring adults. It is important to us that they soak in the same worship atmosphere as the grownups.
